The Society was established in 1917 and has flourished since then, albeit in various guises, and now has about 80 members. Our repertoire includes Masses by Mozart, Haydn and Brahms as well as more modern composers such as Rutter and Finzi. We have also sung some exciting non-sacred works.
We welcome new members to come and sing with us. No auditions are necessary, all that is required is a love of choral music and be able to sing in tune. You will be invited to come along to a couple of rehearsals to see if you would like to join us.
